A chilling aviation security case has emerged after UAE investigators outlined an alleged plot involving a Flydubai co-pilot on a Dubai–Tel Aviv flight. According to the UAE Attorney General, the Omani co-pilot allegedly planned to seize the aircraft and crash it into Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport in an attack inspired by the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. Investigators say the suspect attacked the captain with a crash axe while the aircraft was over Saudi airspace, triggering a dramatic plunge before the crew subdued him. The flight landed safely in Saudi Arabia. Authorities say the investigation is examining the suspect’s alleged radicalisation, preparations and movements before the September 30 incident. How did the alleged plot unfold? What happened inside the cockpit, and what questions does the case raise about aviation security screening? #Flydubai #AviationSecurity #TerrorPlot #DubaiTelAviv #UAE #Israel #BenGurionAirport #September11 CNN TV CNN-News18 is your trusted source for breaking news, updates, and in-depth analysis from around the world.
