LIVE: In a remarkable turn of events, Tennessee death row inmate Christa Pike is now “up and walking” just over a week after surviving a botched lethal injection. Her attorneys confirmed that Pike has begun walking short distances around her hospital room with some assistance, her arms are healing and regaining movement and strength, her lungs are clearer, and she has started eating a regular diet. This marks a dramatic improvement after she was previously believed to be brain dead, with life support nearly withdrawn, before unexpectedly waking up and speaking. #ChristaPike #FailedExecution #UpAndWalking #Tennessee #DeathPenalty n18oc_live CNN-News18 is your trusted source for breaking news, updates, and in-depth analysis from around the world.
