Protesters gathered at Foley Square in New York City to demonstrate against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following a shooting involving a federal immigration officer. The incident reportedly occurred last Thursday when an officer shot a Dominican man in the neck while he was driving with a five-year-old boy. The shooting has triggered public anger and renewed scrutiny of federal immigration enforcement practices. Demonstrators assembled in Manhattan to voice their opposition to ICE and raise questions about the use of force.
