RJ Kaavya | TEDxSRHU

What happens when an unexpected failure in high school physics redirects your entire life? In this deeply moving talk, renowned radio personality RJ Kaavya shares his 18-year journey from the mountains of Bageshwar to major broadcasting stations across India. After conquering early speech impediments and mastering the craft of radio, he manifested a decade-long dream to return home. This led him to establish OHO Radio—Uttarakhand’s first app-based digital radio network designed to connect the global Himalayan diaspora and celebrate regional culture. Through initiatives like the OHO Hill Yatra, Kaavya delivers a powerful message: academic grades do not measure your true potential, and resilience will always guide you back to serve your roots. RJ Kaavya stands as a distinguished Radio Jockey, with a comprehensive 15-year experience in the radio industry. Aligning with esteemed brands across the nation, his journey has also taken him to YouTube, where his channel, "Uttar Ka Puttar," has garnered popularity not only within Uttarakhand but beyond its borders.
