President Donald Trump is facing mounting scrutiny over his remarks about Iran potentially striking Los Angeles and San Diego. The comments have triggered political backlash, with California leaders condemning the language and the White House arguing that Trump was warning about the threat a nuclear-armed Iran could pose to American cities. Trump revisited the issue at a rally in Texas, saying the US would protect its cities and would not allow such an attack to happen. He has also argued that higher gasoline prices are a small price to pay to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. #DonaldTrump #TrumpNews #IranWar #LosAngeles #SanDiego #Iran #California #USPolitics #USMidterms2026 #NationalSecurity #TrumpRemarks #BreakingNews #USNews #News18 n18oc_world CNN-News18 is your trusted source for breaking news, updates, and in-depth analysis from around the world.
