| Alice Macedo | TEDxEscola Concept Ribeirão Preto

Does struggling with math mean you are not intelligent? In this talk, the speaker reflects on a personal experience that sparked a deeper question about how we define intelligence and why academic grades often receive more recognition than creativity, artistic expression, and other talents. Drawing on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, the talk challenges traditional ideas of academic success and explores how schools and society can better recognize different abilities. It invites us to rethink what it truly means to be intelligent and how education can prepare us for life beyond the classroom.
