تدور أحداث الفيلم عام 1993، حين يعود المقاتلان المفترقان ريو (أندرو كوجي) وكين ماسترز (نوح سنتينيو) إلى القتال بعد أن تستدعيهما الغامضة تشون-لي (كالينا ليانغ) لبطولة المحاربين العالميين المقبلة. تدفعهما مؤامرة قاتلة إلى مواجهة بعضهما البعض ومواجهة شياطين ماضيهما. الفيلم من إخراج كيتاو ساكوراي، ومن المقرر عرضه في دور السينما في 16 أكتوبر. ويقدم الفيلم سلسلة ألعاب القتال الشهيرة على الشاشة الكبيرة.
