Dream | Wang Di | TEDxHTNIA Youth

Independent filmmaker Wang Di shares his winding path toward a career in film at TEDxHTNIA Youth. He started with a zero-budget short and kept his early cinematic ideals through the long, difficult process of making feature films. His central message is that dreams do not need every condition in place before one begins, and that trying despite limited resources can open up many possibilities.

作为独立电影创作者，他向我们讲述了自己曲折的逐梦之路：从零成本短片起步，坚守年少时的电影理想，在长片创作漫长周期里，经历压力、迷茫与困境。让我们看见，梦想不需要万事俱备才敢出发，即便资源有限，敢于试一试，就会拥有无限可能。 汪迪 Wang Di 2021年执导长片首作《不游海水的鲸》获第五届平遥国际电影展WIP发展中电影计划“最佳导演”奖，入选第二十届香港亚洲电影投资会（HAF）WIP制作中项目“迈进戛纳计划”，2024年入选第三十七届东京国际电影节「亚洲未来」竞赛单元世界首映，2025年入围第十九届FIRST青年电影展主竞赛单元中国首映，荣获「评委会特别提及」荣誉。2026年以剪辑指导身份，凭借长片电影《七分熟》荣获第二十届FIRST青年电影展最佳剧情长片荣誉及观众选择荣誉。在电影创作的同时，涉足于实验影像，写作，绘画，音乐和静态摄影等领域，并在多个独立或官方机构，大学及其博物馆展出交流。 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
