'A risk not worth taking' - PL execs not expecting clubs to vote for Man City expulsion

Sky Sports News reports that two senior executives at different top-flight Premier League clubs told the broadcaster they would be "staggered" and "amazed" if 15 clubs voted to expel Manchester City from the league. They described such a move as a "self-inflicted commercial disaster". The video follows an independent commission finding that Manchester City was guilty of 114 of the 115 charges brought against it over alleged financial mismanagement. Expulsion is one of several sanctions available to the commission; others include a fine, a points deduction and/or a transfer embargo. Manchester City says it is innocent and has vowed to fight the judgement.
