Abiy Ahmed declares Pretoria Agreement has failed

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that the Pretoria peace agreement has failed, dashing hopes for calm in the Tigray region. He said the Tigray People's Liberation Front broke its pledges and signed commitments and chose to return to the military path. He also warned Eritrea that ignoring the call for good-neighbourly relations could have serious consequences for regional security.
