According to the Akita River and National Highway Office, water overtopped the Kojigawa river in the Morigo district, and a Level 5 flood emergency warning was issued shortly after 8 p.m. The alert covers 448 households, or about 1,204 people, in the flood-prone area. Police have confirmed several fallen trees and flooded roads, but no human casualties have been confirmed so far.

秋田県由利本荘市を流れる子吉川と石沢川で氾濫が発生しました。流域には警戒レベル5の「緊急安全確保」が出されています。 　秋田河川国道事務所によりますと、子吉川では22日午後7時半ごろ、由利本荘市の森子地区で越水が確認され、午後8時すぎにレベル5の「氾濫特別警報」が出されました。 　由利本荘市の浸水想定区域の合わせて448世帯、1204人に警戒レベル5の緊急安全確保が出されています。 　秋田県内は24時間に降った雨の量が由利本荘市矢島で135ミリなど、県内6つの観測地点で10月の観測史上最大の雨量となりました。 　県警によりますと、倒木や道路の冠水が複数確認されていますが、今のところ人的被害は確認されていません。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
