The Koyoshi River overflowed in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and the city briefly issued a Level 5 emergency safety alert for 448 households and 1,204 people in the flood-prone area. Water overflow was confirmed in the Moriko district on the evening of the 21st.
