U.S. Midterms LIVE | The Department of Justice has dramatically escalated its involvement in Alaska’s crucial U.S. Senate race just days before the midterms. Federal prosecutors issued a new wave of subpoenas targeting Democratic officials after reports alleged efforts to recruit a candidate named Daniel J. Sullivan — sharing nearly the same name as Republican incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan — to confuse voters and siphon support. The DOJ has also amended its civil lawsuit seeking to block certification of the results if Sullivan loses narrowly, calling the situation a potential “conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the electoral process.” #AlaskaSenate #DOJ #DanSullivan #MaryPeltola #Midterms2026 n18oc_live CNN-News18 is your trusted source for breaking news, updates, and in-depth analysis from around the world.
