Aleph meeting audio: about 19 hours of recordings from Aum Shinrikyo's successor group and a former senior member

Fuji Television has obtained new audio files totaling 11 recordings and about 19 hours from meetings and other sessions of Aleph, the successor group to Aum Shinrikyo. The recordings include remarks by a person believed to be the second son of Shoko Asahara, the former death row inmate whom authorities consider to be directing the group. Aleph has effectively stopped making compensation payments to the Aum Shinrikyo Victims Support Organization since 2018, and the report examines the background to this. A former senior member who spent more than 30 years at the group's core also spoke to media for the first time.
