Ami Nakai 3rd in women's short program at GP France after failed triple Axel

Ami Nakai competed in the women's short program at the first event of the 2026 Grand Prix Series in France. Her opening triple Axel was downgraded to a single rotation and earned no points. Her later jumps, spins and step sequence were executed cleanly, with spins and steps earning the top Level 4. Nakai scored 70.66 points, placing third behind Yuna Aoki.

10月24日（現地時間10月23日）、フィギュアスケートグランプリシリーズ2026の第1戦フランス大会が行われました。 中井亜美選手は最終滑走で登場しました。今季のSPは大人っぽい「タンゴ」で、過去に浅田真央さんも使用した曲で勝負します。 演技冒頭の大技、3アクセルは1回転になってしまい、得点にはなりませんでした。 しかしその後のジャンプはきれいに決め、得意のスピンやステップも最高評価のレベル4を獲得しました。 1位の青木祐奈選手と5.65点差の70.66点でSP3位につけました。 演技後には、「今は本当に悔しい気持ちでいっぱい。今回失敗してしまったトリプルアクセルはしっかり気持ちを切りかえて、明日は絶対に成功させるという気持ちで臨みたい」と語りました。 女子SP得点 1位　　青木祐奈選手（日本）　76.31点　（技術点41.68点　演技構成点34.63点） 2位　　アナスタシヤ・グバノワ選手（ジョージア）　72.63点 3位　　中井亜美選手（日本）　70.66点 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
