ANA to make Air Do and Solaseed Air's holding company a wholly owned subsidiary

ANA Holdings announced a basic agreement to make Regional Plus Wings, the holding company of Air Do and Solaseed Air, a wholly owned subsidiary. Air Do operates mainly between Hokkaido and Tokyo, while Solaseed Air flies between Kyushu and Tokyo. The companies will keep their brands for now, and a future merger is also under consideration. The subsidiary transfer is planned for completion next April, with route network and fleet alignment to follow.

ANAホールディングスは「エア・ドゥ」と「ソラシドエア」の持ち株会社を完全子会社化する方向で基本合意したと発表しました。 ANAホールディングス　芝田浩二社長 「国内旅客事業の収益力を復元し、各社の経営資源と事業運営上の強みを効果的に組み合わせていきます」 　ANAホールディングスによりますと、完全子会社化に向けて基本合意したのは、主に北海道と東京の間を運航するエア・ドゥと、九州と東京の間を運航するソラシドエアの持ち株会社「リージョナルプラスウイングス」です。 　来年4月には子会社化を完了させたうえで、路線ネットワークの再編や機材などの共通化を行い、運賃の収支改善にもつなげたいとしています。 　当面はそれぞれのブランドを維持する方針ですが、将来的には統合も検討しているということです。 　国内線はコロナ禍以降のビジネス需要の低下や燃料費の高騰で事業環境が悪化していて、国土交通省は5月、大手航空会社から中堅の航空会社などに対する出資規制を廃止していました。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
