Your Work Doesnʼt Speak for Itself | Tiffany Winfrey | TEDxLargo

Talent alone may not be enough to advance a career, according to this TEDxLargo talk by Tiffany Winfrey. She describes a career-changing encounter with a senior leader that led her to see why making one's value visible matters as much as the quality of the work itself. The talk shares practical insights on communicating contributions so that opportunities can follow.

• The belief that hard work and great results are enough to succeed
• A career-changing encounter with a senior leader
• Why visibility matters alongside talent
• Practical ways to make one's value visible

In Your Work Doesn't Speak for Itself, Tiffany Winfrey challenges the age-old belief that if you work hard, keep your head down, and deliver great results, success will follow. Through a career-changing encounter with a senior leader, Tiffany discovered a powerful truth: Talent may open doors, but visibility gets you noticed. With humor, honesty, and practical insights, she reveals why being great at what you do isn't always enough—and how learning to make your value visible can unlock opportunities you never imagined.
