Expression Over Traffic: Chen Jianyou at TEDxNanshan Salon
In this TEDxNanshan Salon talk, Chen Jianyou and Lü Shuang reflect on finding other answers to expression within ordinary life. They cite China's large number of self-media accounts and daily video uploads, and ask whether people really have so much to say. Their examples include filming a grandmother's "magic world" and a father's everyday life, and a documentary on the fertility struggles of women in northeast China, which went through 38 revisions.
