Cybersecurity consultation desk set up for small businesses after string of cyberattacks

After a series of cyberattacks on companies, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry opened a free special consultation desk from the 27th at support centers in each prefecture. The desk is intended to handle individual inquiries from small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses. The ministry will also provide information to these businesses through chambers of commerce and regional banks. The published security guidelines include a checklist that can be completed in five minutes.

企業にサイバー攻撃が相次いでいることを受け、政府は中小企業向けの相談窓口を新設したほか、プッシュ型の情報提供を始めています。 赤沢経産大臣 「無料のサイバーセキュリティー特別相談窓口を設置いたします。全国の中小（企業）・小規模事業者の個別のご相談にきめ細かく対応していく」 　経済産業省は27日から、各都道府県にある「よろず支援拠点」などに無料の特別相談窓口を設置しました。 　また、商工会議所や地方銀行などを通じて、中小企業に情報を提供します。 　ホームページで公開されている「情報セキュリティ対策ガイドライン」には、5分で診断できるチェックシートもあります。 　担当者は「どうしたらいいか分からないということも含めて窓口に相談してほしい」と呼び掛けています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
