The Answer in the Gaps: How Life Becomes Stage Inspiration | Shen Yuan Hu | TEDxNanshan Salon
Dancer and choreographer Hu Shenyuan describes how ordinary moments of daily life feed his stage work. He mentions a mother waving goodbye at a train platform, the weary faces on a late-night bus, and a small historical figure taking a step across a desert. He argues that moving expression lies less in technical difficulty than in the gaps between professional work and life, in pausing, noticing and choosing.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
