Aid cuts affecting half a million people: how will Gaza's residents face the coming days?

Ismail al-Thawabta, director general of the Government Media Office in Gaza, said that halting or reducing funding would accelerate famine and worsen the humanitarian crisis. He stated that more than one million people are not receiving a single meal per day. He warned about the decision's consequences for women, children and the elderly, placed responsibility on Israel and the international community, and called for more funding for UN agencies, an end to the blockade and food entry into the territory.
