Gifty Group announces unauthorized issuance of about 550 million yen in e-gift cards

Digital gift company Gifty Group has announced that about 550 million yen worth of e-gifts, which can be sent online, were issued without authorization. According to the company, unauthorized access exploiting a system vulnerability took place on the 25th. It is still investigating whether the issued e-gifts were actually used.
