Iran analyst Hassan Ahmadian: mediators seek to move confrontation to the negotiating table

The video features University of Tehran Middle East studies professor Hassan Ahmadian discussing intensive mediation efforts aimed at shifting the conflict from the battlefield to negotiations. He says Tehran is holding to a seven-day proposal to reach a preliminary agreement and move on to the nuclear file and the dilution of highly enriched uranium. He also points to a gap created by Washington's violation of earlier understandings. Ahmadian adds that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's expected visit to Tehran will address nuclear arrangements and enrichment.
