Iran's Revolutionary Guards say Hormuz developments end the myth of US military superiority

Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced explosions on four oil tankers and the seizure of two others south of the Strait of Hormuz, saying the vessels had sailed on unauthorised routes. The statement also reported that two drones were shot down over the strait and over Qeshm Island. Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned of a broad response if attacks resume. An adviser to the leader, Mohammad Mokhber, said Iran was the real winner of the elections because it had shifted the cost of the war onto the American public.
