Saudia Arabia vows 'serious response' to Houthi attacks and other stories | Global News Podcast
The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have continued to fire missiles towards Saudi Arabia after several deadly attacks on Riyadh's main international airport. Almost all flights to and from the airport have been suspended. The Houthis say the attacks are retaliation for what they call "brutal Saudi aggression" against areas they control in western Yemen. Saudi Arabia's energy minister, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman, told a conference in Riyadh that the seriousness of the attacks requires an equally serious response from the Kingdom. The episode also includes a roundup of other stories, including protests in Delhi, a cyber-attack on French supermarkets, and remarks on the US-brokered energy ceasefire involving Russia.
