Influenza Cases at 12.81 per Medical Institution, About 5.5 Times the Same Period Last Year (October 16, 2026)

The average number of influenza patients reported per medical institution in Japan reached 12.81 in the week ending on the 11th, up slightly from 11.35 the week before. According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, this is about 5.5 times the level of the same period last year. Okinawa recorded the highest prefectural figure at 31.34, and 29 prefectures exceeded the advisory threshold of 10.

インフルエンザの1医療機関あたりの患者報告数は「12.81人」で、前の週からわずかに増えました。昨年の同じ時期のおよそ5.5倍となっています。 　厚生労働省によりますと、11日までの1週間に報告された1医療機関あたりのインフルエンザの患者数は、全国平均で「12.81人」でした。 　「11.35人」だった前の週からわずかに増え、去年の同じ時期のおよそ5.5倍です。 　都道府県別にみると、最も多いのが沖縄の「31.34人」で、次いで神奈川の「21.60人」、埼玉の「20.99人」となっています。 　千葉、東京も「15人」を超えていて、関東地方で患者が多くなっているほか、全国の29都道府県で注意報レベルの基準となる「10人」を超えています。 　休校や学年・学級閉鎖の対応を取った幼稚園や保育園、小・中学校、高等学校は全国で1339施設でした。 　厚生労働省はうがいや手洗い、マスクの着用などの基本的な感染対策を呼び掛けています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
