Iraq weapons control: Factional disputes and US pressure

Debate in Iraq over placing weapons under state control has resurfaced. Kataib Hezbollah has accused the Zaidi government and the Coordination Framework of questioning understandings on the future of armed factions and of suspicions of financial corruption. The discussion comes as dialogue with the factions continues and reports point to US pressure to speed up the disarmament process. Positions on the announced understandings differ.
