Japan's Self-Defense Forces review multinational training on treatment and evacuation of injured personnel

Japan's Self-Defense Forces opened to the press a multinational training session covering first aid and evacuation of injured personnel. The drill was part of the Keen Sword joint exercise with the United States and included forces from Germany and New Zealand, with more than 300 participants from six countries. Treatment was divided among the front line, field medical sites and hospitals, and procedures for treating personnel inside a German military transport aircraft were also checked. 自衛隊は29日まで行われる日米統合共同演習「キーン・ソード」の一環で、負傷した隊員の応急処置から搬送までの一連の多国間訓練を報道陣に公開しました。 　今回の訓練には自衛隊とアメリカ軍のほか、ドイツやニュージーランドなど合わせて6カ国から300人以上が参加しました。 　訓練では少しでも多くの隊員の延命を図るため、負傷した隊員に対し応急処置や手術などといった治療を前線や少し離れた野外の医療拠点、病院などと場所を分けて行いました。 　また、ドイツ軍の輸送機に隊員を運び入れ、機内で治療する手順も確認しました。 　ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻では、長期にわたる戦闘で医薬品や治療器具、病床などの確保が課題となっています。 　政府は、年内に改定する安保3文書にもこれらの機能強化を盛り込む見通しです。 　また、来年度以降、長期戦に備えて医薬品などの確保に向けたサプライチェーンの構築や自衛隊病院以外の医療機関でも治療できる体制づくりを進める方針です。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
