JETRO website suspended after unauthorized access

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), which supports Japanese companies expanding overseas, has announced that it temporarily suspended its website after unauthorized access. According to JETRO, external unauthorized access occurred on the 14th, and the site has been offline since the 17th. Whether information was leaked, how the access happened, and its cause are still under investigation, and no recovery timeline has been set.

日本企業の海外進出の支援などを行うJETRO＝日本貿易振興機構は、ホームページが不正アクセスを受けたため公開を一時的に停止していると発表しました。 　JETROによりますと、14日に外部からの不正なアクセスを受け、17日からホームページの公開を停止しています。 　情報が漏洩（ろうえい）しているかや不正アクセスを受けた場所、気付いた時期や経緯、原因などは調査中で、復旧のめども立っていないということです。 　ホームページ上では、各国の政治や経済などの調査レポートの掲載や、海外展開を支援する事業への申し込みの受付などが行われていました。 　JETROは「いち早く原因を究明し、別の方法で対応できるよう早急に体制を整える」としています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
