Karak attack: funeral held as security forces pursue suspects

Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan stressed that extremist and takfiri thought must be uprooted and has no place in society. His remarks came as residents of the town of Hamoud in Karak buried nine victims killed in an armed attack that targeted the town's church. Official, security and tribal figures, along with Muslim and Christian clergy, attended the funeral to show solidarity and reject violence. Security forces continue raids and pursuit operations to arrest the perpetrators.
