About 300 people ill after school lunch in Matsue due to histamine food poisoning

In Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, about 300 people reported feeling unwell after eating school lunches at several schools. The health center determined the cause to be food poisoning from histamine and ordered the school lunch center to suspend operations for five days. According to the board of education, six junior high school students and eight kitchen staff also reported symptoms. Two children were hospitalized and are reported to be recovering.

島根県松江市の複数の学校でおよそ300人が給食後に体調不良を訴えた件で、保健所は「ヒスタミン」による食中毒と断定しました。 松江市教育委員会　玉木一男副教育長 「原因の食品は、東出雲学校給食センターにおいて調理をいたしました『ハマチのゆずこしょう焼き』でございました」 　29日、松江市の3つの小学校で給食を食べた児童や教職員合わせて293人が体調不良を訴えました。 　市の教育委員会などによりますと、中学校の生徒6人と給食センターの調理員8人も体調不良を訴えていたことが分かりました。 　食品から「ヒスタミン」が検出されたため、保健所は食中毒と断定し、給食センターに5日間の営業停止を命じました。 　児童2人が入院しましたが、快方に向かっているということです。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
