What if using your rights made you harder to see? Pawel Czajkowski speaks on media visibility in the digital era and on why being seen online is a question of rights as much as reach. His view comes from more than a decade of shaping media law in Poland. This talk was part of the first edition of TEDxEuropean University Institute Florence, held at Palazzo Buontalenti, home to the Florence School of Transnational Governance of the European University Institute (EUI), in the former courtroom of the Court of Appeal of Florence (Italy). Theme: “Agents of Change”. Pawel Czajkowski is Legal and Public Policy Director at Agora S.A. and Vice-President of the Association of Private Media Employers in Poland. He is an attorney-at-law with over ten years’ experience in media, press, and copyright law. He sits on Poland’s Foreign Manipulation and Interference Resilience Council, to which he was appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
