Mei Nagano on her first producer role and the stage greeting for “Himachi no Jōō”

Actor Mei Nagano took part in a stage greeting at the Tokyo International Film Festival for the world-fastest premiere of Himachi no Jōō, a DMM TV original drama. Nagano starred in the series and also served as a producer for the first time. The series is based on Chihara Kuresse's debut work of the same name and is set in the Asahi-chō entertainment district of Tottori Prefecture. It follows a former Kabukichō No. 1 hostess who works as a black-suited staff member while aiming for Japan's top cabaret club.

俳優の永野芽郁（27）が27日、都内で行われた動画配信DMM TVオリジナルドラマ「ヒマチの嬢王」の東京国際映画祭世界最速ワールドプレミア上映舞台挨拶に登壇した。 茅原クレセ氏の同名デビュー作が原作。鳥取県の歓楽街・朝日町＝ヒマチを舞台に、歌舞伎町元No.1キャバ嬢の一条アヤネ（永野）が、キャストではなく“黒服”として日本一のキャバクラ店を目指す姿を描く。永野は主演のほか、初のプロデューサーも務めた。 “初プロデュース”については、こうして皆さんにお披露目できて、見終わったあとの顔を拝見できた。『頑張ってよかったな』っていう気持ちでいっぱいです」とかみしめた。 大役就任は、監督や脚本家らとともに取材で訪れたキャバクラ店で、話を聞いている流れの中でオファーされたという。永野は「これだけすてきな作品に初めてプロデュースとして携われるなら、こんな光栄なことはないなと思って、すぐに『やらせてください』という感じで決まりました」と明かした。 ※この映像にはナレーションはありません。ご了承ください。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
