Wooden house burns down in Minobu, Yamanashi; one person believed to live there unreachable

A wooden house in Oshima, Minobu town, Yamanashi Prefecture, was destroyed by fire. Neighbours reported the blaze to emergency services shortly after 6 a.m. on the 18th, and seven fire engines were deployed. The fire was brought under control about four and a half hours later. Police have not reported any injuries or people trapped, but one person believed to live in the house where the fire started could not be reached.

山梨県身延町で住宅が全焼する火事がありました。住人とみられる1人と連絡が取れていません。 　18日午前6時すぎ、身延町大島にある木造住宅で「建物から煙と炎が見える」と近隣住民から119番通報がありました。 　ポンプ車など7台が消火活動を行い、火は4時間半ほどで消し止められましたが、住宅のほか、敷地内にある倉庫や軽トラックが全焼し、隣の住宅の一部も焼けました。 　警察などによりますと、現時点でけが人や逃げ遅れた人がいるという情報はありませんが、火元の住宅に住んでいるとみられる1人と連絡が取れていません。 　現場は、JR身延線沿いにある住宅が点在する地域です。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
