Gust of wind at Halloween event injures four, including a baby, in Mishima, Shizuoka

At a Halloween event in central Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture, a gust of wind lifted a temporary tent and blew it away, injuring four people with bruises and other minor injuries. Those hurt included a six-month-old baby and an eight-year-old girl. The incident happened in the city centre about 300 meters from Mishima Taisha shrine, and no damage was reported to nearby buildings. Police are investigating the circumstances.

静岡県三島市のハロウィンイベント会場で、簡易テントが突風で舞い上がり、6カ月の赤ちゃんを含む4人がけがをしました。 　警察によりますと、25日正午すぎ、ハロウィンイベントが行われていた三島市中央町の会場で突風が吹き、設営されていた簡易テントが舞い上がるように吹き飛んだということです。 　この事故で、三島市に住む生後6カ月の赤ちゃんや8歳の女の子など、4人が打撲などの軽傷を負いました。 　事故があったのは三嶋大社から300メートルほどの市の中心街ですが、近くの建物への被害はありませんでした。 　飛ばされたテントには杭が打ち込まれていたということです。 　警察は当時の詳しい状況について調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
