The diabetes drug Mounjaro is spreading rapidly worldwide as a weight-loss treatment. The report states that prescriptions in South Korea rose 22-fold in one year, with reports of people of normal weight using it and of health problems. The team also looked at the concentration of pharmacies in Seoul and at buyers who travel to a clinic in Fukuoka to purchase the drug, which is cheaper in Japan.
