Government forces say they repelled Houthi attacks on Mount Sabr

Al Jazeera's correspondent in Taiz reported that government forces carried out eight airstrikes on the western entrance of the city, targeting the Al-Dabab front and the area around Mount Han. The strikes followed a cautious lull of about three days. Government forces also said they repelled Houthi attacks in fighting around Mount Sabr, and that ambushes by local residents in Al-Aqrud and Sabr helped slow the group's advance.
