Nissui Expects Full Recovery Next Week After Unauthorized Access Disrupts Shipments
Frozen food company Nissui has announced that its product receiving and shipping, halted by unauthorized access, is expected to return to normal next week. Its group company Nissui Logistics experienced a system failure after a third party gained unauthorized access to a cloud service operated by a contractor. A new system is being built on a server from a different contractor, with normal operations targeted at all sites nationwide. The company states that the affected server did not contain personal or customer information managed by the group.
