Description from TEDx Talks

Why do we willingly suffer in heavy business suits on 37°C days to prove our credibility? We routinely sacrifice personal comfort to satisfy rigid dress codes without ever questioning who actually benefits. Viet shows why balancing societal expectations with individual authenticity matters. I am quite an unusual person, the kind that would wear shorts all year long, and many have called me “The odd one,” thanks to my “fun” quirk and the fashion sense that I possess. Looking around as I grew up, I was torn between keeping the unique identity that defines me and fitting into the expectations of multiple people, even if it means I forget myself. Through the experience, I want to convey the situation that is affecting people’s work, joy, and life or death itself, logically, but also just keeping a tad of bad jokes or comedy to keep the hype going, and maybe some relatively precious life advice for each one of you.
