Our biggest goals in life are an interconnected structure: larger purposes guide everyday actions, and experience reshapes those purposes. This is more important than ever to understand, as AI handles more clearly defined tasks and we all become more directly responsible for answering the larger questions of who we want to become and what makes a meaningful life.
