Princess Kako Apple Picking in Aomori and Karate Viewing at National Sports Festival

Princess Kako visited the Apple Park in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, where she received explanations about various apple varieties and took part in an apple harvest in an orchard on the same site. Earlier, she attended the team kumite final of the karate competition at the National Sports Festival at a martial arts hall in Hirosaki. According to the report, she was scheduled to attend a closing ceremony in Aomori City the next morning and visit the Sannai-Maruyama Site Center in the afternoon.
