Seibu Line Person Struck Incident: Ikebukuro Line Partially Resumes Service (October 29, 2026)

On October 29, 2026, a person-struck incident at Nishi-Tokorozawa Station in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, disrupted train services. Operations on the Ikebukuro Line between Ikebukuro and Hanno stations, as well as the Toshima Line, resumed at around 8:27 a.m. Delays and cancellations were reported. Limited express trains on the Seibu Yurakucho Line and Ikebukuro Line remained suspended.

西武鉄道によりますと、29日午前6時55分ごろに埼玉県所沢市の西所沢駅で起きた人身事故の影響で、運転を見合わせていた池袋線の池袋駅と飯能駅の間、豊島線で午前8時27分ごろに運転を再開しましたが、遅れと運休が出ています。 　西武有楽町線と池袋線の特急列車は運転を見合わせています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
