Fatal hit-and-run on Shonan Bypass in Kanagawa: car collides with large motorcycle, rider dies

A passenger car and a large motorcycle collided on the Shonan Bypass in Ōiso, Kanagawa Prefecture, and the 50-year-old male rider was confirmed dead after being taken to hospital. The crash was reported to emergency services at around 7 p.m. on the 18th. The car fled the scene, and police are searching for it as a hit-and-run case.

神奈川県の西湘バイパスで普通乗用車とバイクが衝突する事故があり、バイクを運転していた男性が死亡しました。乗用車は現場から逃走していて、警察が行方を追っています。 　18日午後7時すぎ、神奈川県大磯町の西湘バイパス上りで「乗用車とオートバイの事故。オートバイが大破」と110番通報がありました。 　警察によりますと、現場は片側2車線で、普通乗用車が車線変更をしようとした際に大型バイクと衝突しました。 　バイクは転倒して、運転していた50歳の男性が意識不明の重体で病院に搬送されましたが、死亡が確認されました。 　乗用車は衝突した後そのまま逃走していて、警察はひき逃げ事件として行方を追っています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
