Train collision in Spain: at least 50 dead, 179+ injured – live report

Two trains collided on the morning of October 28 near Ulda, in the Castilla-La Mancha region of central Spain. Local media report that at least 50 people died and more than 179 were injured. According to Sky News, more than 500 people were aboard the two trains at the time. The Japanese Embassy in Spain said it had no information so far that Japanese nationals were involved and was checking. The line linking Madrid with southern Andalusia has been suspended.
