In a world where social media connects millions, are we becoming more emotionally disconnected? This talk explores how social apps influence human relationships, communication, and emotional well-being, highlighting the importance of balancing digital interactions with meaningful real-life connections. I am a Grade 10 student who is passionate about public speaking, storytelling, and exploring ideas that shape the way we see the world. I believe that age does not define the value of a voice, and that young people can bring fresh perspectives to conversations that matter. I enjoy questioning everyday assumptions, learning from different perspectives, and turning thoughts into meaningful conversations. Through my TEDx talk, I hope to inspire my audience to pause, reflect, and see an ordinary idea in an extraordinary way. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
