I've been wanting to educate about some of the more 'feeling' aspects of a menstrual cycle since I started bleeding from my vagina during puberty. There's a lot of valuable knowledge in understanding one's hormones, uterus, and fertility but the day-to-day emotions or body sensations often get left out of sex ed. And what is taught is rarely all-genders inclusive. Class is segregated. We're told about ovaries and blood collecting products then dismissed. I wanted to make a more comprehensive rundown of the cycle, at least a version of it, with the caveat that everyone's body is unique. Thankfully, many, many people on social media have offered their insights as well. It's like we were all craving a more informed public. Please let me know what isn't correct or how your experience differs. I'm curious.
