Three-vehicle collision on Tohoku Expressway leaves man in his 40s unconscious

A collision involving two passenger cars and one truck occurred on the Tohoku Expressway in Takizawa, Iwate Prefecture. According to police, it happened shortly before 5 a.m. on the 27th on the northbound lane between Takizawa Parking Area and Takizawa Chuo Smart Interchange. The driver of one passenger car, a man believed to be in his 40s, was taken to hospital unconscious, and no other injuries were reported. The northbound lane between Morioka and Takizawa interchanges was temporarily closed as a result.

岩手県滝沢市の東北自動車道で乗用車とトラック合わせて3台が絡む事故があり、乗用車を運転していた男性が意識不明となっています。 　警察によりますと、27日午前5時前、東北道の滝沢パーキングエリアと滝沢中央スマートインターチェンジの間の上り線で、乗用車2台とトラック1台が絡む事故がありました。 　乗用車を運転していた40代とみられる男性が意識不明の状態で病院に搬送され、他にけが人はいないということです。 　この事故の影響で、東北道は盛岡インターチェンジと滝沢インターチェンジの間の上り線が一時通行止めとなりました。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
