First emergency bear firearm drill held in Tokyo, with metropolitan government, police and local hunters

Tokyo held its first drill for an emergency bear hunting response. Participants included the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Metropolitan Police Department and local hunters' associations. The scenario involved an Asiatic black bear appearing on the grounds of an accommodation facility. The drill reviewed each agency's role and the steps for sharing information.
