Toyama Marathon 2026 marks 11th edition with 13,000 runners

The 11th Toyama Marathon 2026 took place with more than 13,000 runners starting in front of Takaoka City Hall. The course passes sightseeing spots such as the Takaoka Great Buddha, and aid stations offered local dishes like masu sushi alongside water. 今回で11回目を迎える「富山マラソン2026」が開催され、県内外から集まった多くのランナーが秋の富山を駆け抜けました。 　1日午前9時すぎ、スタートの合図とともに1万3000人を超えるランナーが高岡市役所前からスタートしました。 　マラソンコースは、高岡大仏など富山の観光名所を巡るルートになっていて、給水所では、水だけでなく「鱒ずし」などの郷土料理がふるまわれていました。 完走者 「（Q.新湊大橋はいかがだったでしょうか）最高でした、きょうは見られました。あれを見たかったので、富山は」 「ベスト出ました、自己ベスト出ました。頑張りました。ありがとうございます、楽しかったです」 　コースの最大の見どころは、立山連峰の雄大な景色を望む新湊大橋で、ランナーたちは富山湾からの風を受け、絶景を満喫しながら走りを楽しんでいました。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
