Trump says from Iowa he is confident of a major election win

US President Donald Trump visited Dubuque, Iowa, as part of his election campaign to rally voters and defend the Republican majority in Congress. Speaking to supporters two days before polls open, he said he felt encouraged by developments across the states and predicted a strong result for the United States and Republicans in the midterms. His remarks come amid close races in several states traditionally leaning Republican, where the economy is a central issue.
